The final product (liquid fuel) has high value of heat combustion (approximately 7.500-8.000 kcal/kg- certified by internationally European institutes). Through power generator (internal combustion engine), the conversion efficiency to electricity is 50%, while the remaining 50% is converted to heat energy which is then collected (efficiency 90%) and used for system energy requirements.

The liquid fuel production unit is based on patented invention and concerns a liquid fuel production method and hybrid system from the treatment of mixed municipal solid waste (MSW), without the use of catalytic compounds.

The implementation of the method produces:

A) Liquid fuel of high quality comparable to diesel (main product). The final-end product has high value of heat of combustion (approx. 7.500- 8.000 kcal/kg - certified by internationally European institutes)

Β) Gaseous fuel The major parts of system energy needs are covered by the recirculation of thermal gases (self-sufficiency closed system). Moreover it can be used as fuel for gas engines, but also as raw material for other fuel production, as liquefied gas fuel.

C) Char which is a high commercial value product (additive for cement plants or as soil improver)
